When Linda + Ken travel to Vancouver it’s all about visiting their good friends and lots of feasting. Who can blame them. By the time we arrived in the city they had feasted! Looking forward to the big feast on your wedding day and lots of random laughter 🙂

We are so humbled to have won a 3rd Place Award at the WPPI 2015 Album Competition in the Engagement category. We couldn’t have crafted this album without the amazing love story and couple that inspired it! Cyndi + Tuong are such a sweet couple and have an incredible sense of style. For their engagement shoot we hit the streets of Vancouver in style!
We had a fantastic time around the city with these two lovebirds. From a cup of coffee in the morning to a walk in the afternoon and then an impromptu dance at dusk it was a whirlwind day of romance!

Can you say 7/11!!!! Karmen and Abel had perfectly planned to have their wedding on the same day as the free 7/11 slurpee!!!! These crazy cats wanted their guests to have great food and a big open bar. [Thanks Abel :)] It definitely was great times hanging out with great friends, even if all of us were up since 4am. You guys know how to throw a BIG PARTY!!!!

Wow! A flawless 5 days of celebration with family and friends from all over the world! Capturing Chanpreet + Lovneet’s wedding celebrations was an absolute joy and reminded us of how inspirational love can be.
Chanpreet + Lovneet, thank you to all of your family members for taking such good care of us and all of the yummy food we enjoyed! Have fun on your honeymoon!

Following on from Karmen + Abel’s Fall engagement photos, we got away from their crazy work schedules for a winter Rocky Mountain get away! Fresh air, good pub food, beer and a hot tub = bliss! And of course, chocolate covered bear paws!!!
Karmen + Abel love hockey so this part of their engagement shoot was the perfect opportunity to do some shoe skating (we didn’t know if Abel could skate!) and rock jerseys of their favourite hockey team — the Edmonton Oilers. Abel skated perfectly with his shoes on and managed not to fall … the same cannot be said of Rina who fell all the way down the hill on the ice! Along with the hockey sticks!!
Karmen + Abel, we were so lucky to share this day with you! Looking forward to your big wedding day and lots of late night partying!!!!

Meraviglioso!!! Bellissimo! Yes, we’ve learned new Italian words thanks to Julia + Giovanni’s wedding! It was a wedding worthy of any Disney princess, and even though Julia’s wedding dress was covered in 10,000 Swarovski crystals she stiIl outshone it! She truly had the big dream wedding of her childhood dreams, including her very own Prince Charming!
Julia + Giovanni, we feel a part of your big Italian famiglia! Grazie mille to you and your families for taking such great care of us in the hot 32 degree weather!

A picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes a thousand is too many. For Giovanni, a picture was worth 4 words: ‘You’ve found the one.’ Giovanni saw a photo of Julia while fixing cabinets at her parents’ house and realised he’d found the one. He just had to meet her now! The opportunity arose weeks later when Julia was at her parents’ house to tell the cabinet fixer (i.e. Giovanni!) what needed fixing.
When we met Julia + Giovanni we could see the spark between them, they fit so beautifully together!
Julia + Giovanni, we can’t wait to shoot your wedding! Giovanni — spoiler alert! Rina had the pleasure of seeing Julia try on her wedding dress and she is GORGEOUS in it!

Our most memorable moment was re-living the moment when we first fell in love while we stared into each others eyes and knowing, yup, he/she is the one. Also, the closest in affection we’ve ever been in public! It was neat holding each other in ways we normally don’t. Hopefully we won’t be as shy for the wedding! – Julia
Jet set! For Chanpreet + Lovneet, jetting off to Vancouver for their engagement photos was a perfect break from their busy lives in Toronto. It was 24hrs of fresh (the polite way of saying it was cold!) air, delicious food & true to form, Chanpreet met a famous person on her travels!
Chanpreet + Lovneet, you guys rocked your photoshoot! You guys are true models and we look forward to shooting your big day! Not to mention all the delicious food!

“I guess the most memorable part was Lovneet trying to keep me from freezing… But also that’s when all the stress of wedding planning kind of faded and I thought – OMGÂ we’re getting married!!” – Chanpreet

Squirrel! Possibly the most memorable word from the Disney movie Up, but for Linda + Marcus, the movie’s memorable quality isn’t in a dog with a translation collar. It’s that they shared their first Christmas apart (they met while studying in the US and live in opposite ends of Canada) watching Up together over webcam.
So when it came to crafting an engagement session that suited this adorable couple, it had to be Up inspired! A perfect excuse for colourful helium balloons and they brought their very own adventure book for the shoot 🙂

Rina was super excited when Perfect Wedding offered Tiffany & Co as the featured vendor for a styled shoot! We took inspiration from Tiffany’s New York heritage to create a styled shoot in a loft style space. It was great to work with FaBLOOMosity, Glossie, Art of Cake, Mode Models, Harry Rosen, Delica Bridal, Truvelle, Bailey, Trisha  and JM Events.
Also, big HUGS to our assistants; Amanda, Kristine and Nathan. And, saving the best for last, Maureen for the storytelling 🙂
