Jacqueline + Tommy :: Wedding Teaser

What a beautiful, memorable day! For Tommy, the most memorable moment was being at the altar with Jacqueline standing in front of him and their friends and family stood around them. That moment felt so right… tears of joy were pushing their way to the surface! But it’s touch, that moment where he held her hands tightly that spoke volumes. In that simple touch, he was showing her that from here on, he’d be there for her. No matter what happens in the future, whenever she’s nervous, scared, or just happy, he’ll be there to share every moment.

When we are doing our first dance at the restaurant. Tommy almost never dances. He usually just stands beside me or watches me from the table with his beer. It was nice of him to get me the dance floor at the last minute. The first minute or so into the song felt really nice until we both felt awkward dancing in front of everyone. So I really loved how all our friends decided to come out and circle around us and we sing the rest of the song together. – Jackie’s most memorable moment

Happy + Albert :: Featured Wedding

Happy loves Hello Kitty and her wedding was a classic day filled with Hello Kitty details; the boys bow ties, to the bridesmaids pink dresses and a Hello Kitty ice sculpture. It was inspiring to see how Happy + Albert personalised their New York wedding.

Happy didn’t get much sleep the night before her wedding, she was so excited! She looked forward to seeing what her bridesmaids would make Albert and his groomsmen do and was not disappointed! The diaper filled with mashed up banana, peanut butter and chocolate grossed Albert out so much that he just couldn’t do it! So his groomsmen stepped up, or rather pushed down, to complete the challenge.

Their first look was an anticipated moment. Happy always says that Albert doesn’t really have facial expressions and was looking forward to surprising him for the first look. As he looked her up and down, he smirked and said ‘yeah, you look good.’

Happy + Albert, thank you for including us in your big day! It was such a beautiful, emotional ceremony and what a party after! Everyone was on the dance floor dancing the night away 🙂 We’re so thrilled to be sharing your inspirational wedding with the The Westchester Wedding Planner and The Wedding Atlas.

Brenda + Andrew :: Engagement Teaser

We love Andrew’s laugh and of course it always makes Brenda giggle as well 🙂 Thank you both for being such troopers and braving the mosquitoes! It was great to see your personalities weren’t the least bit dampened by the bugs!

Weather in the mountains is very unpredictable. But it’s always good to have troppers like Jacqueline and Tommy to rough it out. (Even though this ended up being a 2nd session after the first was rained out lol) Jacqueline even rocked it out in her Nine West heels and a dress on the rocks. Ada + Henry :: Wedding Teaser

Ada + Henry mentioned that they have a lot of relatives in town. They weren’t lying, lol! They are very close with their family and had a lot of fun sharing their first moments as husband and wife with everyone. It was great to see everyone party the night away, we caught some great candid moments 🙂

Sharon + Jack :: Poetic Experience

What Asian guy can pull off a cowboy hat? That was Sharon’s first look at Jack; in a friend’s photo from Calgary stampede and yes, he could pull off a cowboy hat! As for Jack, Sharon had him the moment she asked which NBA star he follows 🙂 But for their engagement session, we were inspired by their (ok, mostly Jack’s) love of food and their new home.

Everything has to revolve around food for Jack (yes, we love it!). We had the chance to capture life in their new home as they entertained friends with a BBQ feast and did some serious HGTV inspired DIY. We’re thrilled to be sharing their engagement session with the readers of Reverie Gallery.

Instead of sharing just the pictures from Sharon + Jack’s engagement session, we wanted to share their album. Inspired by lifestyle magazines, Sharon + Jack’s engagement album captures snippets of their past and shows it in context of this moment in their lives – as they transition to a new home and a new status – married!

Sharon + Jack, thank you for inviting us into your new home! Your DIY is looking awesome and it’s good to know that until the dining room’s done, you can make McD’s and KFC take away a fine dining experience 🙂

Danijela + Zoran :: Featured Wedding

We knew after shooting Danijela + Zoran’s engagement photos that their wedding would be super stylish, but we were still blown away by how gorgeous their day was. Although they were both born and raised in Canada, they come from Serbian heritage and it was great to see traditional Serbian traditions incorporated into their wedding day.

Close family and friends gathered at her parents home, where Zoran had to negotiate a price for his bride. Fortunately for Zoran, there weren’t any embarrassing door games like we’ve seen at Asian weddings! But he did have a test: traditionally the groom has to shoot an apple from a tree. Well, Danijela’s parents didn’t have a tree, so her dad hung the apple from the roof of the house and handed a BB gun to Zoran. After some help from his Groomsmen and family members, the apple came down! But it was all worth it when Zoran saw Danijela 🙂

Their ceremony took place at the Ukranian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John and afterwards everyone came up kissed them 3x on the cheek. It was a true celebration as everyone exited the church to showers of candy and money thrown by the Groomsmen.

A stunning reception in the same gold, champagne and ivory palette was a beautiful conclusion to their day. It was great seeing everyone on the dance floor at the end of the night!

Danijela + Zoran, thank you guys for including us in your special day. It was great to see all the Serbian tradition & we can’t thank you family & friends enough for being so sweet to us! We’re thrilled to be sharing your classic wedding with the readers of Wedluxe.

Tammy + Clarence :: Wedding Teaser

Amazing food!!!! Tammy + Clarence love Teatro restaurant and it was the perfect spot for them to have their wedding reception and share a favourite restaurant with their closest family and friends. Great food, great location and great people.
