Natalie and Mai, it’s always a lot of fun and laughter with you both and it’s amazing how you can throw a party!!!! You’re always looking out for your family and friends and it truly shows even on your biggest day. We are honored to be a part of it and we look forward to more future events. 🙂

What do you get when you put Natalie and Mai together in Vancouver and 2 days of shooting? You get happy and growing stomachs from all the feasting and a suitcase full of treats and snacks! We had an awesome time with Lisa + Drew for their Autumn rooftop engagement session and are thrilled to have captured their perfectly imperfect wedding. We loved Lisa’s ‘No pain, no gain’ motto for her wedding day & for Drew, the pain started early!
Drew & his groomsmen decided to try a new experience in the morning; a wet shave. Even though the most experienced barber wasn’t working, they still opted to try it out. The result? Pain. Thankfully the cuts on their faces healed quickly 🙂
As Lisa walked down the aisle, Drew held back his tears as he saw his bride for the first time. They shared their handwritten vows & the JP did a fantastic job of lightening the emotion by introducing the newlyweds, ‘Lisa and Jared’ – perfectly imperfect! It had everyone laughing 🙂
We can’t thank Lisa + Drew enough for all their hardwork. Lisa rocked her Jimmy Choo’s; wearing them in slanted steps and metal staircases – it was amazing to see! Even though she was a bit dehydrated from the heat & lack of water, she did a phenomenal job & we’re so proud 🙂
Their intimate reception had less than 11 tables full of close family & friends. Lisa + Drew spent months practicing their ballroom dancing and it was perfect 🙂 As the sky grew darker, everyone had a play with the sparklers creating a perfect ending to a perfect day 🙂 We are thrilled to be sharing their wedding with the readers of Trendy Groom.

The celebrations started early for Amy + Howard’s wedding 🙂 Amy has a big family and with 21 Aunties and Uncles and a total of 27 cousins, her parents house was packed!
Howard stayed at his groomsman’s house 5 minutes away, but his reputation for being late is not restricted to distance! Amy’s bridesmaids planned for this & the later he was, the worse the door games! As Amy hid upstairs and watched, Howard & his groomsmen were humiliated on the front lawn. They suffered through wasabi, passing seaweed with just their lips, and Howard played the keyboard and sang as his groomsmen did a choreographed dance behind him.
After the traditional tea ceremony, everyone headed to the beautiful Timms Centre for the Arts. Amy + Howard’s friends did a fantastic job setting up the ceremony space with runners, flowers & ribbons before the ceremony (sorry to the guys who didn’t want us taking their pics, we couldn’t resist documenting your handwork for Amy + Howard to appreciate!). It was a beautiful ceremony with handwritten vows and tearful moments.
We are thrilled to be sharing their wedding with the readers of Munaluchi Bride.
The reception had plenty of games, laughter & when Amy’s dad took to the stage to sing karaoke, he got the party started! It was so sweet seeing all the aunties, uncles, cousins and Amy singing along with him to their heart’s content.

We can’t believe it’s been just over a year since we spent a warm Spring day with Amy + Howard for their engagement session! Amy + Howard met in one of the most unlikely of romantic hot spots; Computer 114. His first words were ‘Is this seat taken’ and his motive was purely selfish; befriend the only girl in the class because all the TA’s will rush to help her in labs. Howard insists Amy made most of this up, but she swears she has a really good memory 🙂
Before we started the shoot, Amy gave us some of her homemade M&M cookies!!! Anthony’s super powers are triggered by one thing- SUGAR!!! So he dove straight in, and they were delicious 🙂
Amy + Howard, thank you both for taking time out of your hectic studies for your CFA & CA respectively 🙂 We can’t wait to share your wedding next week.

Hey Cyndi and Tuong, big congrats to you guys. Can’t believe you two were partying well into the night even though your day started at 5am. I’m sure those Starbuck Frappucinos in the morning came in handy. Thanks for letting us capture your memories. Our highlight was definitely Kelly’s heartfelt speech to her Mom and Dad; innocent, sweet and left many of us watery eyed. 😀

A nice mini vacation to Vancouver was the perfect trip for the new parents, Cyndi + Tuong. It was a awesome setting with all the beautiful scent of spring in the air and of course the Cherry Blossoms.
